THE BAMBOO PRINCES

The play is Kaguyahime, which means The Bamboo Princess.

Long ago in Japan, pre-books, a person from the local village would ride around on his bike
and gather all the children to tell them a story.
The local elder would show the children hand drawn picture cards and tell the story.
The Bamboo Princess is an old Folk Tale to be read in this old format (kamishibai) which means story telling
by showing picture cards and acting them out.
There will also be action songs with audience participation
